Flapper Fringe Dress: $84.99 at Poetrie! I know this isn’t a vintage dress, but it is vintage inspired!! Who doesn’t luv the 20’s and who wouldn’t want to party in a flapper dress!!  Peachy fringe on top, underneath a  black, fitted, strapless shell hugs your curves deliciously so you can dance the night away!

Leather Snap Jacket: $21.50 as of now on Ebay at Noir Ohio Vintage!  Fully lined 80’s Vintage black SUPER supple, buttery soft leather coat with a draped collar and funnel neck detail.  Asymmetrical snaps down the front with open oversized pocets and padded shoulders. Fishnet Tights: $17.99 at Modcloth! Deep plum and black, textured fishnets, which feature seemingly millions of tiny patterns to make your legs look sassy and styling!

Vintage Ring: $175 on Etsy at Wolfpack Tribal Shop!  I know, it’s a bit expensive, but it is a rare black/purple natural sugilite ring!  Circa 1970’s this ring, and others in Shop, were acquired from a fine art gallery that closed over 20yrs ago.  Handcrafted and Native American made, it is sterling silver with no plastics or pot metals.

Chainmail Earrings: $12.99 at Poetrie! Antique inspired bronze earrings!

Noir Ohio Vintage is a fabulous Ebay store!  Selling on Ebay since 2005, this store strives to provide quality vintage to its customer!  A bit on the edgier side, this store is perfect for the 80’s/90’s luver or to find something tough to go with your lacey top! I ❤ it!

Modcloth was founded by high school sweethearts, Eric Koger and Susan Gregg Koger, and built on a foundation of love for vintage and retro clothing!  A great go to for anything you need, ModCloth provides vintage inspired clothing and accessories too.  But if you want to shop their vintage, you have to be quick about it and get it early in the day b/c it goes super fast!  It’s totally worth it if you catch it!

Simple, Yet Glamorous!

It’s 8 days until Christmas and here is Holiday Outfit number 3! Yes, I know I missed a day, I’m sorry! But I hope this old style Hollywood party dress will make up for it!  It’s super simple, but glamorous and elegant.  And for shoes all you would need would be a simple black heel (prefer. with a round toe!) 1950’s Clover Embroidered Dress: $115 at LaVintage!  Perfect for Holiday parties, this taffeta party dress is in excellent condition!  The bodice is fitted with a gorgeous wide neckline that falls off the shoulders and reveals the perfect amount of sexiness which balances out the full skirt. White Rabbit Pillbox Hat: $24 on Etsy at Dear Golden Vintage! Vintage 1960’s hat in excellent condition with cream grosbrain lining and cream satin top!

LaVintage is a vintage lovers gem!  A true pearl!  It specializes in everything from clothing to accessories from the 1940’s to 1990’s! Constantly updated there are always great new Vintage pieces, all in mint condition!  A vintage paradise!

Maki Maki Vintage has been an Ebay seller since 2000! Amazing! Maki specializes in 60’s mod, 70’s glam, and 90’s grunge!  Carrying everything from over sized coats to skinny acid wash jeans, Maki Maki has something for every vintage lover! Check them out!

Dear Golden Vintage is one of my new finds and I ❤ it!!  Dear Golden is a vintage shop that brings hand-selected vintage garments from the 1920s through the 1980s to modern girls who aspire to stand out from the crowd in the very best way. Vintage Inspired…

So, I was poking around the other day (naturally) and I came across a site that I can’t keep in the dark!  It’s absolutely FABULOUS!  Not only does it have amazing prizes, but the clothing is super adorable and “ready to wear.”  Not to mention that the clothing line also offers an eco-friendly, an indie-made, and a curvy plus line.  Interested?  Apparently you are if you’re still reading!  So, I’m gonna let you in on my find…the name of my new favorite women’s apparel company is Ruche.  And what makes this clothing line so amazing, besides the actual apparel, is the fact that it was created with love by a pair of lovebirds who dreamed of being able to build their own business.  As we women have come to find, sometimes it can be a bit difficult to find clothing that fits not only our personal style, but our budget. Lucky for us though, this is exactly what Mai Olivio, one of the founders of Ruche, found herself experiencing.  So she began in 2005 to buy and sell clothing that she felt fit with her personal style and through the years she and her husband Josh Olivio steadily built her business based on Ruche’s mission statement of “a modern boutique with a vintage touch.”  By 2008 Josh Olivio, who holds a degree in Computer Science and Web Developement, was able to create ShopRuche.com and since then their business has steadily been growing.  Priding themselves on customer service, they still personally answer customer emails and honor any discrepancies that may be found with their clothing.  Even more impressive and what I find most interesting about this company, is that they strive to ensure that small boutique brands and indie designers are represented in their catalogue.  Artists helping Artists…I love it!
